It was a project I wanted to do for some time. After too much deliberation, I finally just jumped in and did it.
The finished result was everything i imagined. Comfortable, flat lay, good views, not too much sag at head or foot. I'll post some more specs if anyone is interested. Here are some pics....

ReplyDeleteNice. I have been thinking about the hammock way of backpacking. I just retired and want to lighten my load as much as I can now that I can be gone weeks at a time. It always seemed to me that I was folded in half in a hammock. I'm 6' 2" and 240. What are the specs of this hammock? I have found ripstop in most of the fabric stores around and I am ready to get out.
